About the role playing game. Make sure it is cooperative. That's the difference between a computer MMO and a pen and paper RPG, the latter is almost always full cooperative. Competition kills community (source: Alfie Kohn).

Hi Alfie! You've nailed it there, it has to be cooperative, for sure, and a social adventure directed meeting people, and something useful for the community, and useful for the player (developing skills, knowing places in the community, making friends, etc). Great thought! Thanks :)
